On Porn Journals

One of the strangest things about livejournal is when an anonymous quasi-sock-puppet journal adds me and I look around and I see most of the rest of what they've added is pornographic in nature.

I know I have talked about sex in this journal, but it seems like the last place someone would go for kink:
  • I almost never mention my own sex life, and I certainly don't provide details.
  • I almost never post pictures, and if I did I would make the worst cam-bunny ever.
  • When I do talk about sex it is almost always in the form of cultural analysis. Even that is rare.
My conclusion: a lot of people must get off on Barak Obama.

You're up? Can you call me?

Obama

well, who doesn't?

Re: Obama

This is, of course, a critical point.

I should drop more photos of him in my journal, just to get people hot and bothered.

(Although photos aren't anything compared to speeches. I just don't know if people can handle that kind of raw sexuality).
My conclusion: you have history of sex, pornography, sex, and sexual tension listed among your interests.
That probably explains it!

Two of the four are mostly academic interests (history of sex, pornography), but the later are legit. I may have to edit my interests.

But, seriously, I have no objection to someone having an anonymous sex journal. I just wish they would be better at executing it. Filtering by interest is a bit like Bush's wiretapping filtering by keyword - yes it is a way to search, it's just a terrible terrible way.
I had some random person add me too but never posted - I don't know where these people come from
I always really want to know if/how they know me. I've probably had a thousand 'real' journals on my friends list at one time or another. Is it someone I encountered a long time ago under the guise of a sockpuppet? Someone who saw a comment I made somewhere (note: this is almost impossible)? A post in a community I made (note: even more impossible)?
i'm not a sock-puppet journal and i don't get off on Barack Obama, however, i am attracted to the content of your journal and the way you convey yourself. i, btw, found your journal randomly, courtesy of the random-clicky-feature LJ has provided all of us. usually i am bombarded with journals from either a.) cyrillic speaking/writing individuals who may be intelligent and humorous, but i can't tell. b.) english speaking/writing individuals who i can read, but would rather not due to a lack of brain cells on their part or c.) the combination of something in between. i was very pleased to come across your journal needless to say.

anyway- i'm Sara. i'm adding you if that's ok. my current journal is new, but i've been on LJ for about 5 years under a different name (vanillabeani). i created a new journal to go with my new life.

i don't normally make this long of an introduction and i have no reason as to why i am now. perhaps too much caffeine.

hello :)
Very good to meet you Sara. I appreciate the introductory post and look forward to getting to know you. I promise, you will find very little Cyrillic in my journal.
